StarCash - Convenience in a card
StarCash is the prepaid card that works for you. It allows you
to buy fuel as well as a whole array of convenience retail goods
anywhere there's a Caltex or Ampol service station in Australia.
Even when you don't have cash, you do.
Think of StarCash as a cash replacement. There's no credit
approval needed when you're purchasing with it. And it comes in
handy in case of emergency.
Give it as a gift. Keep it as a cash reserve tucked safely in
your wallet. Or simply make sure someone close to you has enough on
them to get where they're going.

When you use a StarCash card, the remaining balance and card
expiry date are displayed on your receipt.
So you can keep track of what you've spent and what you have
left to spend. It's a great way to stay on budget.
Where can I purchase StarCash?
At our participating Caltex and Ampol service stations.
StarCash is available in denominations of $25, $50, $100, $250 and
$500. For purchases over $500, please call 1300 726 530.
StarCash tips
Keep your StarCash in a safe place. StarCash is the same as
using cash so if it's lost or stolen it can't be replaced
Make a note of your card number. If you know this number, the
card can be cancelled upon request.
StarCash can only be redeemed at stores that have operating
EFTPOS facilities and can only be used electronically.
Make sure that when storing StarCash in your purse or wallet
the magnetic strip does not come into contact with other credit
cards as this may affect the electronic devices used in store to
read the card.
If your total purchase exceeds the stored value remaining on
the card, the difference can be made up with cash only.

StarCash denominations.
We've created StarCash in denominations to suit you, your
customers and your employees nicely: $25, $50, $100, $250 and
$500. And there are two convenient payment methods: prepayment or
payment on invoice.

02 9250 5878. A minimum order of $500 must be placed for an order
to be processed.
For purchases under $500, we encourage consumers to directly
purchase the cards from our participating Caltex and Ampol service
stations.

Loadable StarCash for
Merchants
Already over 1.5 million cards have been sold in Caltex service
stations across Australia. We are keen to see this growth continue.
Loadable StarCash has many key benefits, including:
- No Upfront Commitment You will no longer need
to pay upfront. With Loadable StarCash, payment will only be
required once the card has been sold to a customer.
- Increased Flexibility Cards will no longer
come with an expiry date printed on them. The 12-month life of the
card will now only commence when it is sold and loaded, affording
greater flexibility for you and your customers.
- Greater Security The new cards will have no
value until they are loaded at point of sale. This will remove the
risk of theft, allowing Loadable StarCash to be displayed
prominently in-store.
- Easier Reconciliation New reports will be
introduced to help you reconcile your Loadable StarCash sales. This
will include Recipient Created Tax Invoices, which detail the
commission earned on each sale, as well as the amount to be debited
by Caltex.
- Easy Online Ordering You will also be able to
place, track and manage your Loadable StarCash orders online using
your StarCash Account Number.
