Elizabeth Bryan
Chairman (Non-executive / Independent)
Elizabeth was appointed a director of Caltex Australia Limited on 18 July 2002 and appointed Chairman on 1 October 2007. She is also Chairman of the Nomination Committee and attends meetings of the Audit Committee, the Human Resources Committee and the OHS & Environmental Risk Committee in an ex-officio capacity.
Elizabeth is a professional director and brings management, strategic and financial expertise to Caltex. Elizabeth has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry, government policy and administration, and on the boards of companies and statutory organisations. Prior to becoming a professional director she served for six years as Managing Director of Deutsche Asset Management and its predecessor organisation, NSW State Superannuation Investment and Management Corporation.
Elizabeth is the Chairman of Unisuper and is also on the National Board of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Des King
Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer
Des was appointed as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer on 1 May 2006. He is a member of the Nomination Committee.
Before joining Caltex Australia, Des was responsible for the management of the 220,000 barrels a day Chevron Corp. Pembroke refinery in Wales. He has previously held senior roles in Chevron including General Manager Strategic Planning responsible for developing the corporate strategy for both oil and gas exploration and production, refining and marketing. Other previous roles included general management responsibility for technology marketing. Des joined Chevron in 1981 after working as Professor of Chemical Engineering at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Des has a degree in chemical engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London and a PhD from the University of Cambridge.

Trevor Bourne
Director (Non-executive / Independent)
Trevor was appointed a director of Caltex Australia Limited on 2 March 2006. He is Chairman of the OHS & Environmental Risk Committee and a member of the Audit Committee and the Nomination Committee.
Trevor brings to the Board broad management experience acquired in industrial and capital intensive industries and engineering and supply chain skills and experience. From 1999 to 2003, Trevor served as CEO of Tenix Industries. Prior to Tenix Industries, he spent 15 years at Brambles Industries Limited, six as Managing Director of Brambles Australasia. Before that he worked for Incitec Ltd and BHP Limited.

Brant Fish
Director (Non-executive)
Brant was appointed a director of Caltex Australia Limited on 27 July 2006. He is a member of the Human Resources Committee and the Nomination Committee.
Brant brings significant downstream oil industry experience to Caltex, particularly in the area of supply chain. He is the Global Vice President of Venture & Affiliates with Chevron Global Manufacturing. Prior to 1 August 2006, he was the General Manager of Supply Optimization - Asia Pacific for Chevron USA Inc, with accountability for overall refining and marketing earnings, commercial decision making and optimisation across the Asia Pacific fuel supply chain - from refinery crude supply to consumer or export sale.
Brant was previously an alternate director for Peter Wissel and for the former directors, Bill Hauschildt and Mitch Rubinstein.
Brant is based in Singapore.

Greig Gailey
Director (Non-executive/Independent)
Greig was appointed a director of Caltex Australia Limited on 11 December 2007. He is Chairman of the Human Resources Committee and a member of the Audit Committee, the OHS & Environmental Risk Committee and the Nomination Committee.
Greig brings to the Board extensive Australian and international oil industry experience and broad management expertise acquired in industrial and capital intensive industries. From 1964 to 1998, Greig worked at British Petroleum Company where he held various positions throughout Australia and offshore including management of refining, supply and distribution in Australia and Europe.
Greig was subsequently appointed Chief Executive Officer of Fletcher Challenge, New Zealand, a position he held from 1998 to 2001. In August 2001, Greig joined Pasminco Limited as Chief Executive Officer. Pasminco Limited was subsequently transformed and relisted as Zinifex Limited on the Australia Stock Exchange in April 2004. Greig became Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Zinifex Limited from that date until standing down in June 2007.
Greig is currently president of the Business Council of Australia.

Colleen Jones-Cervantes
Director (Non-executive)
Colleen was appointed as a director of Caltex Australia Limited from 1 June 2008. She is a member of the OHS & Environmental Risk Committee and the Nomination Committee.
Colleen brings to the Board important downstream oil industry knowledge and experience, especially in the area of Marketing. She currently serves as Vice President – Global Marketing, Asia Pacific Region with Chevron U.S.A. Inc. (a company in the Chevron Group). In this role, she is responsible for retail sales for the Caltex brand, commercial and industrial sales, asphalt and LPG sales, and company operated stores in eleven countries.
Colleen previously served as an alternate director for Brant Fish and a former director, Peter Wissel.
Colleen is based in Singapore.

John Thorn
Director (Non-executive / Independent)
John was appointed as a director of Caltex Australia Limited on 2 June 2004. He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Human Resources Committee and the Nomination Committee.
John is a professional director and brings expertise to the Board in the areas of audit and accounting practice, business advisory services and risk management. John had over 37 years professional experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a partner from 1982 to 2003 undertaking work for major international and local companies. During this period he served as the Managing Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Assurance and Business Advisory Service practice from 1998 to 2001 and as the National Managing Partner from 2001 to 2003.

Peter Wissel
Alternate Director
Peter was appointed as an alternate director for Brant Fish and Colleen Jones-Cervantes from 1 June 2008.
Peter is the Regional Finance Officer, Asia-Pacific for Chevron's downstream business. In this role, he is responsible for financial and management reporting, credit approval, local cash management, local tax matters, and risk management in the 15 countries in the Asia-Pacific region where Chevron conducts refining and marketing operations.
Peter previously served as a director from 23 August 2005 to 31 May 2008.
Peter is based in Singapore.
