With Caltex StarCard, you’ll have access to a national Roadside Assistance to provide you and your vehicles help when you need it. The service gives you an easier, more streamlined approach to vehicle breakdowns, making it the smarter way to look after your vehicles.

With no joining fees and at only $5.25 a month per vehicle, Caltex Roadside Assistance is more cost effective than most equivalent services in Australia. In addition, the small monthly charged will be billed to your monthly StarCard account for easy consolidation of your vehicle costs – reducing the amount of time you spend on paperwork.

As a Caltex Roadside Assistance customer you can make an unlimited number of calls for help to assist with:

• Mechanical breakdowns
• Emergency Fuel – at your cost
• Wheel changing
• Flat batteries
• Key lockout and
• Towing (20km free).

In around 85% of cases the vehicles can be mobilised at the roadside. Where this isn’t possible your vehicle will be towed free up to 20km. You can also nominate where your vehicle should be towed, within the 20km radius. You can have your vehicle towed to your choice of authorised vehicle dealer, the closest Caltex service facility, or the local service facility of the motoring organisation. Any additional costs for towing outside the 20km radius can be charged to your StarCard.

Eligible vehicles

Vehicles eligible are all passenger, 4x4 recreational and light commercial vehicles under 2,500 Kg GVM (excluding payload at the time of breakdown) which are not greater than 2.5 metres wide, 6.0 metres in length and with a wheel span less than 1.8 metres.
