Caltex now offers you a Roadside Assistance program so your vehicles can get assistance when they need it. Caltex Roadside Assistance is a national service so you no longer have to co-ordinate a number of different services in each state. Instead Caltex has arrangements with each of the leading state motoring organisations. So wherever your vehicles are across Australia , if your drivers require assistance they simply call a centralised number – 1800 225 111.

It is an easy, cost-effective way to ensure that your vehicles stay on the road. There's no extra paperwork for you. Caltex will simply bill your Roadside Assistance fee to your monthly StarCard account, consolidating all your costs on the one invoice. There are no joining fees and you can nominate all of your vehicles or just the ones aren't covered by a manufacturer's program. Best of all the service can be cancelled at any time without penalty.

If your vehicles are off the road for any length of time, it means costly downtime. That's why Caltex Roadside Assistance offers a StarCard holder unlimited calls for:

• Mechanical breakdown
• Emergency fuel
• Wheel changing
• Flat battery
• Key lockouts
• Towing

In around 85% of cases the vehicle can be mobilised at the roadside, however where this isn't possible (or where it may affect the warranty) towing will be arranged. If this is the case, the vehicle will be towed up to 20km to the repair facility of your choice. Any additional charges for fuel (the provision of fuel at roadside is at the Driver's expense, where not possible or practical the provision of a tow is a Caltex's expense and therefore charged to the Driver's Starcard), battery or extra towing will be charged to the StarCard.
