The Starlight Children's Foundation - In 2002 we raised $303,161 for Starlight's funds. In 2003 the contribution totalled $360,191. Fundraising activities included selling merchandise on Star Day, barbeques, trivia nights and car washing.

The Caltex Best All Rounder Award - This award is presented annually to final year students who are recognised as all rounders academically, in sport, in community service and in leadership. Over 96% of Australian secondary schools accept the award to present every year.

Awards for Innovation in the Vocation of Teaching - In association with the Rotary Club of Sydney, three $5,000 grants are offered to New South Wales teachers each year. Awards in 2002 and 2003 helped teachers extend their skills in information communication technology, space study, horse husbandry and teaching students with special needs.

The Australian Chamber Orchestra - 2003 marked the seventh year of our support of the Australian Chamber Orchestra. In 2002 we sponsored their national tour of a double string orchestra with the viola player Caroline Henbest. In 2003 we sponsored the ACO's tour with American soprano Dawn Upshaw.

The Driver Safety Program - In 2003, 249 Caltex and Ampol service stations participated in the Driver Safety program. They provided free Nescafe coffee and a Kit Kat to all drivers when they stopped to refuel.
