Our Commitment

Caltex Australia Limited seeks to act as a good corporate citizen at all times and undertakes contributions and sponsorship programs as part of its partnership with the community.

Sponsorships support major community activities where it is possible to achieve strong recognition of the company's brand and involvement with the event.

Caltex views its contributions and sponsorships as long-term investments in the company's commitment to the community. The return from the programs comes from the enhancement of community relationships made possible through work and communications with local community members and their representatives, government, customers and other stakeholders.

Application and approval procedures

The Caltex contributions and sponsorship programs are highly selective.

There must be a tangible return to the community and appropriate recognition for the company for any proposal to be considered.

As a general rule, the company sets aside funds each year for selected projects covering:

· Community and environmental program support in areas relevant to the business, particularly in the vicinity of major facilities such as the Kurnell and Lytton refineries
· Education & community contributions and sponsorships relevant to the company's marketing and retail activities.
