1. What is Caltex Woolworths?

Caltex and Woolworths have commenced a retail venture to provide Woolworths/Safeway and Big W shoppers in Australia with discounted fuel.

Shoppers nationwide will have easy access to quality discounted fuel (petrol and other selected fuel products) at more than 500 Caltex Woolworths/Safeway service stations adjacent or near to a Woolworths/Safeway supermarket or Big W store.
 

2. How will I recognise Caltex Woolworths/Safeway discount petrol sites?

You will see both the Caltex brand and the Woolworths/Safeway brand on the pylons and general signage of the service station. Both brands will be highly visible.
 

3. How do I get discounted fuel?

Just spend at least the qualifying amount in one transaction at participating Woolworths/Safeway Supermarkets and BIG W and Food for Less stores and you will receive a fuel discount receipt.
 

4. Are there any other conditions?

Yes.

• A limit applies of one fuel discount docket per customer transaction, per vehicle, for a fuel purchase of up to 150 Litres at selected outlets.
• Discount dockets are only available for purchases at participating Woolworths/Safeway Supermarkets and BIG W and Food for Less stores.
• Discount dockets are not available for purchases at jointly branded Caltex Woolworths/Safeway fuel outlets, Caltex/Ampol outlets, Metro or HomeShop outlets.
• Dockets must not be damaged, defaced or altered or past their printed expiry date.
• The offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer. The discount offer excludes purchases made with Caltex StarCard (see below).

5. How can I redeem my fuel discount receipt?

It's easy - just drive to your nearest Caltex Woolworths/Safeway jointly branded service station and present your discount voucher, on the bottom of your receipt. Click here to check on locations.
 

6. Can I also get a discount off the price of fuels such as premium unleaded, lead replacement petrol and diesel?

For petrol yes - provided you have the necessary docket and that includes Caltex’s premium unleaded fuel, Vortex.

The discount offer on diesel and LPG fuel applies only at selected jointly branded Caltex Woolworths/Safeway fuel outlets.
 

7. Can I get the discount at any Caltex service station?

No - only at sites that are jointly branded Caltex Woolworths/Safeway. Service stations which only show the Caltex brand are not part of this offer.
 

8. Can I use credit cards to pay for my fuel purchase at Caltex Woolworths/Safeway service stations and receive the fuel discount?

Yes, Caltex Woolworths/Safeway service stations accept all major credit cards.
 

9. I hold a Caltex StarCard – can I use it at Caltex Woolworths/Safeway service stations?

Yes, the co-branded service stations will be pleased to accept your StarCard – however, you will not be able to use it in conjunction with a fuel discount docket from a Woolworths store.

11. I've checked and at the moment, there isn't a co-branded site near where I shop. When will there be?

We are aiming to have around 490 jointly branded sites when the rollout of Caltex Woolworths outlets is completed. Click here to check on current locations.
 

12. I often use the Caltex Star Marts or Star Shops to pick up grocery items - is that going to change?

No, the convenience stores will provide the same offer that you're used to. That's not going to change although the discount offer is not available on these purchases. Some selected stores also offer car washes and a range of other useful facilities.
 

13. Will the Star Marts and Star Shops simply become mini Woolworths?

No, they will remain convenience stores giving the same excellent choice of food and grocery items they always have.

14. I have recently been given a WISH Gift Card and want to use this to buy fuel. Where is my nearest Caltex Woolworths/Safeway petrol station?
