The benefits of StarFleetPlus

At StarFleetPlus we ensure your fleet is run efficiently to provide you with better financial control. As a StarFleetPlus customer:
· All your vehicle repairs and maintenance are pre-authorised by our qualified automotive technicians according to manufacturer's specifications. (Pre-authorisation gives you peace of mind that you are not being over charged for the repairs.)
· Our fleet management system allows us to track every item of repair carried out on your vehicles. This enables us to track any possible warranty claims on your behalf.
· Our fleet management systems can be tailored to incorporate your specific fleet policies eg new Dunlop tyres must be fitted at a maximum of 40,000km.
· StarFleetPlus can set a dollar limit on repairs to ensure you are notified of repairs exceeding that amount.
· Monthly management reports ensure you are kept up to date on your fleet's performance. The StarFleet Exception reporting highlights those areas which may require immediate attention.

The StarFleet Network

StarFleet maintains agreements with over 2,400 repairers nationally including manufacturer dealerships and national repairers such as Beaurepaires, O'Brien Glass, Marshall Batteries and a number of independent repairers.

In most cases we have negotiated special discounted rates for StarFleetPlus customers and we ensure the full benefit of these prices is passed on to you. In fact many StarFleetPlus customers have recorded significant savings in the cost of running their fleet. You can check the rate, at no charge, by providing copies of your maintenance invoices to our qualified fleet controllers for a comparison.

Easy Cost Control

The Caltex fleet controllers constantly monitor the costs associated with your fleet of vehicles. All repairs are pre-authorised providing you with peace of mind and ensuring that the StarFleetPlus preferred labour and part rates are being applied.

Vehicle History at Your Finger Tips

Once your vehicle is loaded onto the StarFleetPlus system, a history is stored on every repair and maintenance activity that takes place. Vehicle history is important for double checking whether new parts are genuinely needed. So when a vehicle is being serviced, the fleet controller can assess whether or not the item is chargeable or any manufacturer or previous repair warranty should apply. By using a reputable StarFleet repairer, you can be sure that the job will be done correctly the first time avoiding expensive downtime or inconvenient follow up visits.

Monthly Reports

Three monthly reports are sent out at the end of each month by StarFleetPlus. They are:

Fleet Register

This report acts like an asset register showing all of the vehicles in you fleet and includes the purchase date, driver name, cost centre and latest odometer reading.

Fleet Details

This report shows you the monthly activity for each vehicle in your fleet. It provides detailed information on maintenance transactions and a summary of fuel used during the month.

Fleet Exceptions Exception reporting allows you to keep control of your fleet and ensure drivers are following the company's fleet policy.

Real Time Exception Reporting

All reports need to be provided in a timely fashion so they can be used effectively and exception reporting is no different. StarFleet's Real Time Exception Reports are exactly as the name implies, real time. So this means that you and your drivers can receive information that is accurate and relevant.

Exceptions can be sent on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis for overdue services, missing odometer readings, vehicles due for service, vehicles due for disposal and registrations that are due.

Service overdue and missing odometer readings exceptions are sent directly to your drivers. This will save you time because you won't need to remind them when to have their vehicles serviced or to enter their odometer readings, it will be done automatically by StarFleetPlus.

Ad-hoc Reports

Ad-hoc reporting allows you to get information when you need it. The StarFleetPlus system stores a lot of information about each vehicle in your fleet but our monthly reports may not provide you the detail you require. The flexibility of the StarFleetPlus database means that you can choose the fields you want to see in a report and then decide how often you would like to receive it.

If you need information about your fleet during the month, or for a specific time period, StarFleetPlus can meet your requirements by providing an ad-hoc report.
