  1. Information on how to enter and on prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these conditions of entry.
  2. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees of the Promoter, Caltex resellers, franchisees, participating outlets and agencies associated with this promotion, and the immediate families of these entities, are ineligible to enter.
  3. The promotion commences on 21/05/07 and closes at 5pm AEST on 20/6/07 . All entries must be received during this promotional period.
  4. To enter, participants must:
    1. Go to www.caltex.com.au
    2. Enter the promotional page and view the mandatory requirements.
    3. Complete the on-line entry form including full name, address & mobile phone (or alternative contact phone number).
  5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over internet communications and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
  6. A maximum of five valid entries will be allowed per person during the promotional period.
  7. All valid entries will be placed into a single draw at 3.00pm on 21/6/07 at Anisimoff Legal , Advertising and Marketing Lawyers , 61 Christie Street , St Leonards NSW 2065. The winner will be contacted by phone and the winner’s details will be announced in The Australian on 4/7/07 .
  8. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by randomly selecting a further valid entry.
  9. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to require proof of identification from any prize-winners to validate their entries.
  10. The first valid entry drawn will win tickets for 4 people to the State of Origin Game 3 in Brisbane on 4 th July 2007 including return economy airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city, airline and airport taxes, private transfers from the airport to the hotel and return, 1 nights accommodation at the Rendezvous Hotel, breakfast, transfers to and from the game including 4 x Category 1 tickets. All other expenses, including meals (other than as specified above) and spending money, are the responsibility of the winner. PLUS the winner will also receive 4 State of Origin Supporter’s packs, each of which include a State of Origin jersey valued at $170.00 RRP, supporters cap valued at $33.00 RRP, supporters flag valued at $25.00 RRP, Born N Bred stubby cooler valued at $11.95 RRP, clip key ring valued at $7.95 RRP, blow up football valued at $9.95 RRP, inflatable esky valued at $24.95 RRP and car flag valued at $8.95 RRP, PLUS a $1,000 StarCash gift card. Total prize pack valued at up to $6,359.00 RRP.
  11. If the winner of the major prize has purchased any DELO product during the promotional period, that winner will receive an additional $1,000 StarCash gift card, subject to providing the Promoter with proof of purchase of the DELO product during the promotional period.
  12. The next 30 valid entries drawn will each receive a State of Origin Supporter’s pack, which includes a State of Origin jersey valued at $170.00 RRP, supporters cap valued at $33.00 RRP, supporters flag valued at $25.00 RRP, Born N Bred stubby cooler valued at $11.95 RRP, clip key ring valued at $7.95 RRP, blow up football valued at $9.95 RRP, inflatable esky valued at $24.95 RRP and car flag valued at $8.95 RRP, PLUS a $50.00 StarCash gift card. Each prize pack valued at $341.75.
  13. Total prize pool is valued at up to $17,611.50 RRP.
  14. Prize including any unused portion of the StarCash gift card is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash. Standard StarCash gift card conditions apply, which are available at www.caltex.com.au. StarCash is redeemable against fuel and shop purchases at participating Caltex and Ampol stores Australia wide.
  15. The winners may, at the request of the Promoter, be required to participate in publicity activity on behalf of the Promoter.
  16. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.
  17. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
  18. All claims for the major prize must be made by midday 25/6/07 . The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary at 3.00pm on 25/6/07 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date.
  19. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained, either directly or indirectly as a result of entering this promotion, or receiving, accepting or using any prize, or due to the broadcast of any program or a publication or statement relating to the promotion, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
  20. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to any written directions of any relevant authority.
  21. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify all entries from any person, and prohibit that person’s further participation in this competition, who tampers with, or benefits from any tampering with, the entry process or the operation of the game, acts in violation of these conditions of entry, acting in a disruptive manner, or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
  22. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise in connection with prize winnings and prize winners should seek and rely on their own independent financial advice.
  23. Entries become the property of the Promoter. Information about entrants is used to conduct the competition and may be disclosed to third parties contracted to provide services to the Promoter in connection with the competition. An entrant may request access to his or her personal information, ask a privacy-related question or get a copy of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy Statement by writing to: The Privacy Compliance Officer, Level 24, 2 Market Street , Sydney , NSW 2000.
