Fuel Card FAQs

  • There are over 2,000 of our service stations Australia-wide that accept Caltex StarCard. To locate a service station by state, town or suburb, or to plan a trip via participating service stations, go to Find a Caltex.

  • You must immediately report lost, stolen or damaged Caltex fuel card by calling 1300 365 096.

  • There are two extra services that you can opt in to on your StarCard at the time of application. The extra services available are:
    a. Services and Repairs; and 
    b. Roadside Assistance. 

    If either of the Extra Services above are selected at the time of application, you will be issued a StarCard with a ‘Services and Repairs’ icon for easy recognition and to distinguish it from a StarCard without any extra services.

*To earn 5,000 bonus Qantas Points, between 1 May 2017 and 30 June 2017 claimants must; (a) open a Caltex StarCard account by 11:59pm on 30 June 2017 and (b) be or become a member of the Qantas Business Rewards program. Claimants who are not already a member can join Qantas Business Rewards program for free, by visiting https://www.qantasbusinessrewards.com, following the prompts, and apply to become a member; and (c) link their Caltex StarCard with their Qantas Business Rewards Account. **A business must be a Qantas Business Rewards Member to earn Qantas Points. A one-off join fee of $89.50 including GST normally applies, however this will be waived for Caltex Business StarCard customers. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to Qantas Business Rewards Terms and Conditions. Qantas Points are offered under the Caltex Business StarCard Terms and Conditions. Any claims in relation to Qantas Points under this offer must be made directly to Caltex. Qantas Points will be credited to the Members’ Business Rewards account within 60 days of purchase. Caltex Business StarCard Members will earn 1 Qantas Point per litre of Vortex Premium Fuels; 2 litres of regular petrol and diesel; $1 spent on eligible products in-store; and $1 spent on servicing.

 In order to transfer Qantas Points from a Qantas Business Rewards account to an individual’s Qantas Frequent Flyer account, the business account must have a balance of at least 3,000 Qantas Points. You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions. We recommend you consult your accountant or tax adviser to ensure you understand possible tax implications, for example fringe benefits tax (if applicable).

^Qantas Business Rewards Member is not entitled to claim Qantas Points for purchases of the following good and services at Caltex: accommodation; AdBlue; amusement machines; bus/freight tickets; cigarettes & tobacco (Including all related items); deposit/insurance services; dry cleaning; fax/photocopy; handset kits; hire services; laundry services; loadable/preloaded StarCash; lotteries; LPG; Lubricants; magazines & newspapers; maps; phone accessories; postage stamps; prepaid/postpaid internet; prepaid/postpaid starter kits; recharge cards; showers; telco accessories; tolls; and any other new products that are added from time to time by Caltex. ˜Eligible businesses means all small and medium enterprise StarCard account holders that have an Australian Business Number registered against their StarCard account but excludes StarCard customers on non-standard StarCard terms.
