Evie

How it works

If you don't already have it, Download the Evie Networks app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Then, when you visit a participating Caltex location, plug in the connector at the electric vehicle charging station to your vehicle, select the corresponding charging station on the Evie Networks app, enter your payment details and start charging. It’s that easy!

Evie Networks FAQ's

  • Evie Networks Ultra-Fast charging station’s (350kW) offer both Japanese and European plugs catering for all available EV models.  Older Tesla models with proprietary Tesla plugs can access the charger with a CHAdeMo adapter.

  • Ultra-Fast charging pay-per-use costs 35c per kWh consumed + 25c per minute while charging.

  • The Evie Networks Ultra-Fast chargers (made by Australian company Tritium) are cutting-edge technology and can provide 350kms of range in 10mins. Cars that can charge at this rate are not yet available in Australia. Charging times will differ based on vehicle capability with today’s average charging session lasting 20mins.
